Peace Always Begins with Me!

You may have noticed the tag line I put at the end of my correspondence. It reads “Peace always begins with me!”.

These are not just words, they are a statement of fact. No matter what situation I find myself in, peace always begins with me. When I walk into a room, no matter what’s going on, I am peaceful and that peace extends like a bubble around me. When I speak to people or even just sit near them, they become more peaceful too. Often remarkably so.

I am not the only person who has this effect on people. There are many long time ZPoint users who have noticed this phenomenon as well. It is important to understand that we are not affecting people in this way, it is the peace we carry inside us that does the job.

When you are peaceful inside, that peace can be felt by everyone you come into contact with just as the opposite is true. It is a palpable presence that you carry within you and that presence reaches out to others and affects them as well.

It has long been known and accepted that “as it is within you, so shall it be outside of you” If you are filled with upset and anger or resentment, you will attract those situations, circumstances and relationships that mirror that upset. Your life on the outside will be filled with a turmoil that merely reflects the turmoil already present within you. If you feel abused, you will notice only those experiencing similar abuse. If you are angry, you will constantly meet that anger in relationships or the circumstances and situations that trigger it. As it is within you, so shall it be outside of you.

The purpose of ZPoint is to help you stop the madness, the drama and the upset. It’s purpose is to give you a simple way to let all of that go and find inner peace.

Many people today are concerned with World Peace or Outer Peace. They look at the world and see only the violence, the mistrust, the anger and the resentment. They feel powerless to do anything about the current situation and in their powerlessness feel isolated and alone. To feel better about themselves, they join organizations believing that in working with others, in promoting the idea of Peace this will cause others to change. Those people will become more peaceful and the world will become more peaceful as a result.

I am here to tell you that this approach will NOT work. We cannot change the world by trying to change others. We can ONLY CHANGE OURSELVES. If this approach did work, we would be experiencing a far more peaceful world right now. As Dr. Phil would say “How’s that workin’ for you?”

Mahatma Ghandi said it best, “Be the change you want to see in the world”. This means that if you want a peaceful world, you must first become peaceful within yourself. Peace always begins with you and spreads outward. To say to another, “lay down your arms and find peace” without first feeling that peace within you, is the greatest of all hypocrisies. You are saying “Do as I say, not as I do”. They are merely empty words or actions. There is no power of truth behind them.

When you speak words of Peace and inside secretly think thoughts of anger or resentment, you perpetrate the very conditions you seek to change. First you MUST become peaceful within yourself and then your words and your very presence will have the power to change lives. Peace always, always begins with you.

If you are truly committed to World Peace, find that Peace within yourself first. My personal belief is that The ZPoint Process was specifically created to help you do this easily and with very little effort on your part. Over a very short period of time you’ll notice yourself becoming much more peaceful and relaxed about life, and this is a gift beyond measure.

All parts of your life will change for the better. You will be happier and you will see that happiness reflected in the faces around you. Remember, as within, so without. And the greatest part is, you don’t need to say a word. You become that Peace personified.

Peace always begins with you.

Practice your ZPoint everyday and become more and more peaceful within yourself. You will very quickly see the results of the Peace you carry as it powerfully affects your relationships and everything you touch. Be the change you want to see in the world. Be at peace with the world and the world will smile back at you. :-)

If you haven’t already done so, consider purchasing my Nine Minutes to Bliss Program. It will help you to become the peaceful person you wish to be. Remember, you can change the world by changing yourself first.

Until next time,

Grant Connolly

ZPoint for Pain

A few days ago I received an email from Sue Tanida, a long time member of this list. She brings up a subject I find facinating, using ZPoint on physical issues. Let me quote from her email…

Grant,

I did buy your new 9 Minutes manual and I do love the general clearing… It is relaxing to “sit back” and just focus on my cue word. Not to mention that my cue word is the name of one of my very beloved cats, Pippin–and his name by itself brings a smile to my face.

I’d like to share something that you are free to use in any of your newsletters or a future ebook. I find that erasing the tape on physical pain works really well if I aim at not eradicating pain, but taking away everything but a slight reminder to be careful with what is injured.

I recently had a few small burns, one from steam and the other from bumping my forearm on the edge of the oven when removing my baking. Both were sufficiently severe that the skin darkened and later peeled off, but neither produced any blistering or much pain at all once I counted them down using ETT, once for the pain and once for the remainder of the pain.

Interestingly, as an experiment, I tried to remove ALL pain on a third pass with one of the burns but I got distracted and lost count a couple of times before giving up–the remaining pain was around a 1 on a SUDS scale–or even a 1/2–and something wise in my subconscious decided that it would be a good idea if it had just enough sensitivity that I would avoid using hot water dishwashing or banging the area on something while it healed. Both burns healed beautifully.

Blessings,
Sue

I personally have had experience with this aspect of ZPoint, helping my ex wife through an operation. According to her Doctor, she healed twice as fast as she should have and had half the pain.

I’ve also heard stories about people who’ve slammed fingers in car doors and used ETT to release the pain and promote healing. Now we have another story by Sue Tanida that points to the effectiveness of this technique.

I’d like to know about anyone else out there who has had similar experiences. If you have, can you please leave a comment on this story or send me an email at grant@zpointforpeace.com.

On Reaching your Dreams

What if there really is a simple way to have those things or have those experiences that you really want?

A few years ago I saw a television program featuring world class athletes being trained to run even faster. Each was at the top of their game, but each had reached a plateau. And try as they might, none could move past that seemly insurmountable physical barrier and run faster.

A very clever coach came up with a brilliant way of helping those athletes break through the barrier. He hooked them up to a pulley and a long rope that pulled them down the track just a little bit faster than their personal bests. And it worked. They all ran faster!

What that brilliant coach did was to create the possibility and the expectation that they could run faster. And without seeing and especially feeling that possibility for themselves, they couldn’t get past that seemingly insurmountable barrier.

ZPoint What if’s work in exactly the same way as that pulley and rope but without the sweat and effort. They create a sense of expectancy that sets in motion the circumstances necessary for you to have those things or be whoever you want to be.

Inside each of us, somewhere, is an image of the life we want for ourselves. For countless reasons we’ve accepted the notion that we can’t have or be whatever that is. But what if it’s not true? What if we can?

Below you’ll find some What if Statements that will do for you what that rope and pulley did for the athletes. Just take your time and do each statement and remember to repeat your cue word after each one. And when you’ve finished, just take a few minutes to focus on how wonderful you feel… and keep repeating your cue to feel even better.

And we’ll begin…

What if all the dreams I’ve ever dreamed for myself are just waiting for me to claim them? <cue>

What if I could let go of all the ways I’m afraid to let my light shine? <cue>

What if I could let go of all the ways I blame myself, or others, for things that happened in the past? <cue>

What if I could let go of that past, remembering only those things that give my life purpose and meaning? <cue>

What if I can allow myself to feel good about my life and everything in it? <cue>

What if I can let go of all the stress, all the worry, all the doubt? <cue>

What if whenever I hear the voice of my intuition, I listen and trust what it has to say? <cue>

What if I just let go of all the burdens I carry that are not mine to carry? <cue>

What if I opened to the truth about myself and found that truth to be pleasing. <cue>

What if I could wake up each day with a feeling of excitement in my heart? <cue>

What if I allowed myself to be the person I’ve always wanted to be? <cue>

What if I allowed my most cherished dreams to come true? <cue>

What if I could do all of these things easier than I ever imagined? <cue>

What if I am the person I most want to be? <cue>

Now take a breath. Continue repeating your cue word, notice how you feel and bask in that feeling until you’re ready to carry on with your day.

————–

I’ve just completed a very special program that includes a recording of me leading you through the above “What if’s..?” It makes you feel wonderful and gives you a feeling of confidence that you will let go of those things that no longer bring you happiness. (Read more….)

‘ZPoint Newsletter – More powerful ‘what ifs…’

Those of you who’ve used ZPoint for a while may be familiar with ZPoint ‘What if’ Statements. If you’re unfamiliar with these statements, here’s an example.

What if I can do the things I want to do and have those things that make my life easier. <cue>

What if I can give myself permission to release my resistance to receiving what I really want. <cue>

After each ‘what if’ you would simply repeat your cue word for about 10 seconds.

‘Yes’ is a very appropriate cue word to use with ‘what if’s’ because the word ‘yes’ opens all doors with a smile. And the questions themselves when coupled with the cue word and healing program, creates a sense of expectancy and excitement. This feeling indicates that you’ve created that possibility within yourself and this activates the Law of Attraction to bring you what you seek.

Below you’ll find the text of an email from Maureen Kirk, a Clinical Social Worker from my home town of Peterborough Canada who is currently enrolled in the ZPoint Personal Peace Practioner Program. As you’ll see, she uses ‘what if’ statements in a very creative way to relieve a physical issue. I send my sincere appreciation to Maureen for such a wonderful idea. She writes…

Hi Grant,

“I have had a few very interesting experiences with the What Ifs this week. The “story” is that I have been progressively developing a chest infection over the past 3 weeks. My Dr. was away on vacation so I made 2 visits to the ER at Peterborough with the hope of getting some antibiotics to start my recovery. Both visits the ER Dr. did not provide to needed antibiotic and when I finally saw my Dr. this Monday I was very congested and feverish with a full blown infection.

I was struggling to get my breath and coughing and feeling very unwell on Monday evening so I lay down. As I was lying on my bed I thought of using the What If statements and started with “What If I am able to clear this quickly, easily and gently”. I went on to statements that were focused on me being fully in balance and vitality. I also addressed my fear of not being able to breathe as I had past karma and life experience in this lifetime with breathing difficulties.

I had been wanting to listen to the Oprah and Eckardt Tolle webcast that evening and when I was finished with the What Ifs, I was able to breathe clearly and the coughing had ceased so I was able to view the webcast.

What I realised firstly was that I could make a difference to my physical imbalance with the z-point and create the space for healing to occur. Secondly it came to me that the What If statements are very much more powerful on their own when linked with the original ICATW (I clear all the ways) statements.

I feel energy and the difference in the power of the combination was massive. I felt that possibly there may have been some subtle resistance to the straight ICATW statements and the What Ifs opened up all possibilities…making the approach even simpler.”

- Maureen Kirk, BSW. M.Ed. C.S.W., – current ZPoint Practitioner Candidate

The basic ‘what if’ statement creates a sense of expectancy while the addition of ‘I clear all the ways’ releases anything that dampens that expectancy. As Maureen implies, these new statements may release any subtle resistance we may experience when using regular ZPoint statements. This makes the whole process simpler and more effective.

So, if we change the ‘what if’ statement slightly, it becomes:

What if I can clear all the ways I’m not able to clear this quickly, easily and gently? <cue>

What if I can clear all the ways I’m afraid to breathe? <cue>

What if I can clear all the ways I can’t relax fully and completely? <cue>

or,

What if I can clear all the ways this feeling impacts my life? <cue>

What if I can clear all the ways I hold onto this situation and everything connected to it? <cue>

Questions are always more powerful than direct statements. You can experience the truth of this for yourself by repeating the following two statements and comparing how you feel after each one. The first statement is…

I clear all the ways that I may feel unsafe about change. <cue>

Then,

What if I can clear all the ways that I may feel unsafe about change? <cue>

Do you feel the difference?

If you haven’t already done so, please, take a moment and try these new ‘what ifs’ for yourself. Make up a few ‘what ifs’ for yourself an pay attention to how you feel. Allow yourself to feel GREAT!

Then, send me a quick email at grant@zpointforpeace.com and let me know how you made out. :-)

ZPoint Newsletter – Your Biggest Fear

In this issue we will be talking about our fears and how to overcome them easily and with very little effort. It doesn’t really matter what they are, it all boils down to a feeling.

Some say we should try to understand our fears and in that understanding will come freedom. Others say we should face our fears head on. Confront them. Stand up to them. Challenge them.

For most of us, just the thought of facing our fear, whatever that fear happens to be, is very daunting. My ex wife had a fear of bears. At least several times a month she would wake up from sleep screaming that she was being chased by a huge man eating bear. It was getting so bad that she was actually afraid to go to sleep.

I simply suggested that she gather all of her courage and next time she was being chased by the bear in her dream, she stop, turn around and face the bear. And that is exactly what she did. The very next time she had the dream, she stopped, turned around and looked the bear right in the eye. From that day to this, she has never had another bear dream.

If you are looking to face your own “Bear Dream” and release a BIG fear, join Grant Connolly as he leads you through The ZPoint Process to do exactly that. Go to

ZPoint Newsletter – Mirror Mirror on the Wall

When you look into a mirror, are you happy with what you see? Probably not. Our society is compulsively addicted to looking young and fit while at the same time, statistics show that a majority of us are overweight.

Here are some ZPoint Opening Statements to assist you in changing how you view yourself at an unconscious level and, when you change how you THINK about yourself, your body will actually alter itself to accommodate that change.

Please note that each clearing follows exactly the same format. We bring the feelings up to conscious awareness with the Opening Statements and then release everything with the regular ZPoint Statements that follow.

Sit or stand comfortably in front of a mirror and just look at your reflection. When you see yourself in the mirror, how does it make you feel? Move past the thoughts themselves and feel that Characteristic Feeling that inevitably arises as you do this. In fact, if you think back you’ll probably discover that you’ve been feeling that very same feeling for a long long time, regardless of how long you may have carried the extra weight.

Chances are that this feeling started in your childhood and has been with you through thick and thin ever since. Just for a moment, allow yourself to think about how wonderful it would be to release that ancient feeling and feel good about yourself, perhaps for the first time in many years.

So, to release that feeling once and for all, just read the following ZPoint Statements as you look deep into your own eyes and repeat the following:

Whenever I look at myself in a mirror, I feel… <cue>

I clear all the ways I feel this feeling. <cue>

I clear all the ways I feel this feeling because… <cue>

I clear all the ways I feel this feeling whenever… <cue>

I clear all the ways I may feel this feeling if… <cue>

Now, take a big breath and check in with that feeling again. Is it still there? If so, repeat the following:

I clear all the remaining ways I feel this feeling. <cue>

I clear all the remaining ways parts of me don’t want to let this feeling go. <cue>

I clear all the remaining ways these parts don’t know how to let this feeling go. <cue>

I clear all the remaining ways these parts benefit from my keeping this feeling. <cue>

I clear all the remaining ways I wouldn’t feel safe if I let this feeling go. <cue>

Now, check in with that feeling again. Chances are it will either be gone or almost gone. To complete this exercise, imagine that you are placing all of the remaining thoughts, feelings and memories into a light filled circle and simply count them down from 10 to 0. Remember to repeat your cue word between counts.

Starting with 10, 9, 8, and so on until you reach 0.

Now, look into the mirror again and pay attention to how you feel as you do this. My guess is that now you’ll feel much better about how you look.

Until next time,

Grant

ZPoint Newsletter – Living NOW

Around 2002 I came upon some channeled material that really intrigued me. I’d devoured all of the Seth/Jane Roberts books in the early 70’s and believed they were a rich source of information on how the system that supports life really works. And then I came across Chief Joseph as channeled by John Cali and I was hooked.

His message is different than Seth’s. Where Seth spoke about the intricacies of the mechanisms of life, Chief Joseph speaks as a trusted friend who sees in you what you don’t yet see in yourself.

I tell you this because I’ve had two private sessions with Chief Joseph/John Cali over the past two years. Both experiences had a profound impact on me and all he did was help me see from a higher perspective, in a very gentle and loving way.

Today, Chief Joseph speaks about the key to living the joyful life we intended when we arrived here, but got sidetracked along the way. He speaks gently but with the authority of truth.

The reason I send this on today is to remind you that you too can be in that place he speaks about. When you let go of those things that take your attention away from your life right now, your life begins to bloom with joy. You become peaceful inside and you find yourself living increasingly from that place of joy that Chief Joseph speaks about below.

And now, here’s Chief Joseph………

What are you thinking about right now? As you’re starting to read this, what are your predominant thoughts? Whatever they are, they probably have something to do with wanting to be free and joyful.

You were born free. You were born joyful and joy-filled. When you entered your present physical bodies, you were filled with an exhilarating sense of freedom and joy. You were excited, ecstatic even, to be coming once again to this wild frontier of life on Mother Earth.

You anticipated a wild ride. And most of you have had just that — a really wild ride. But you also anticipated a joyful ride. Yet many of you have not had that. Why do you suppose that is?

Well, let us offer you our perspective. When you were infants and for the first few years after infancy, you were exploring and immersing yourselves in the pleasures and passions of this wondrous planet you call Earth.

You’d been here before, many times. But each incarnation was fresh and new. It was exciting for you, the infant — the young child of few years, to be back again in the wild diversity of physical life on Earth. You were having fun. You were filled with joy. And, no matter how your particular circumstances of birth might be viewed by more “mature” human minds, you were having a really good time!

But then “reality” kicked in. You were told, or circumstances (as interpreted by your elders) indicated, life is serious business. You have a responsibility to become a success, however that was defined by the particular “authorities” in your life.

And so it went, on and on, until all or most of the fun and joy were drained from your young life. Then you became one of “them.”

That scenario did not happen to all of you. But it certainly did to many of you. What do you think is the difference between that carefree, joyful little child you were once and that care-full, joyless big child you are now?

The difference is how you see your now — how you are perceiving in your present moments. Most of you do not live fully in the present moment, as you did when you were little children.

You’re usually worrying about or fearing the future, or feeling guilty or troubled about the past. Hardly a thought, however, do you give to the present moment.

And yet all your power is in this present moment. All your power! You cannot live in the past or future. But you can certainly let your worry or guilt keep you from living fully in this present moment.

All you have is now. As a little child, you knew that. And you were joyful for the gift of each present moment the Universe bestowed upon you. You were grateful and you immersed yourselves in the pleasure and passion of physical life.

Your power is now. Become as little children once again. Live now. Look for what feels good to you — and only for what feels good. Seek only joy, as you once did.

When, in your daily lives, you experience more joy and less of anything that is not joy, you will prosper and grow.

Joy is the only true measure of success. And you can find joy only in the present moment. You’ll never find it in the past or future. Once you know that in your heart, you are tapping into that divine creative energy that is your birthright. That creative energy you fully possessed as a child.

When you’re able to do that, you will know you can have it all, in this lifetime — right here and now. Because all your power is now.

The ZPoint Process: The One-Word Prayer You can use Anywhere!

The following article was written by Pete Koerner, author of the phenomenal new book The Belief Formula. I recently visited Pete and his wife Jennifer in their home in St. Mary’s Georgia. I’ve read the book at it is completely in alignment with ZPoint. I can recommend it highly if you wish a better understanding of the Manifestation Process and how to get what you really want from your life.

Today Pete writes about ZPoint and I’m sure you’ll appreciate his unique perspective.

————

Recently, in response to an article I had written on Forgiveness, I was contacted by a person who said, “Physiologically, the brain can’t forget; I’d like to forgive, but how can I forget what was done to a young child? How can I forget that trauma when I am alone at night in the dark…?” This person’s prayer was to forgive and forget the past; but they didn’t know how to release the thoughts that kept them stuck in the past.

The brain and body do indeed operate much like a computer — remembering and storing everything that happens to you. The brain seems to act like the central processor; while the rest of the body serves to store memories, input and output information, transmit electrical signals and commands, and execute, or perform, the programs sent by the brain. When everything is working smoothly, information is gathered, experienced, processed, assimilated, and released; but when we experience trauma, we can sometimes get stuck in a memory-loop that affects us much like a computer virus affects a computer — slowing it down, making some operations impossible, and shortening the life of the computer.

Consider that a computer virus that causes pop-ups is a program stored in your computer’s memory — a program which can be activated remotely (by outside influence), triggered locally by actions you don’t know will trigger it, or which turns itself on automatically according to a schedule. An alarm clock ringing at 6:00am is another example of a behavior that engages automatically at a pre-determined, or pre-programmed, time.

The problems with pop-up viruses and alarm clocks is that they keep you from doing what you want to do in a somewhat annoying way. But, in both cases, we understand why the unwanted behavior is happening; and we know how to stop the behavior, or change it — and it is up to us to take the necessary action to produce the conditions we desire. In the case of a computer, we can simply hit the “Delete” key, or the “Escape” key; with an alarm clock, we can hit the “Snooze” button and go back to sleep.

But what about humans? Do we have an “Escape” key? Can we be programmed to “turn on and off?” What about our thoughts? In case you’ve never tried this before, you can tell yourself prior to going to sleep at night that you will sleep the appropriate number of hours and wake up at 6:00am, for example; and your body will do it. You can tell yourself to “Hold on!”; and your body will do it. What if you told yourself, “Let go…”? Humans do respond to programming and commands they are given; in fact, that’s practically all we do. When we pray, we may be asking God to create new conditions for us; but there is often at least one practical step we must take — there is something different we must tell ourselves to do, a “button” we must push, or a command we must issue. As they say, “God helps those who help themselves;” if your prayer was for a few more minutes of sleep, God’s given you a way — but it’s up to you to push the snooze button.

Grant Connolly, creator of the Z-Point Personal Peace Program, has developed a simple process by which we can use a single “Key Word” to stimulate, or encourage, the mind to release its grip on a predetermined set of “problem thoughts,” or worries, fears, etc… I sometimes call the Z-Point Process, “The One-Word Prayer;” because, just like a computer or alarm clock, your brain and nervous system can be programmed, or conditioned, to relax and let-go when you decide you want to relax and let-go — and say “the magic word.”

Based on ancient wisdom teachings and principles (”As a man thinketh…”), ancient healing principles, and the latest breakthroughs in modern medicine and science, the Z-Point Personal Peace Program offers a quick and graceful way to release the past so you can embrace the present and reach for the stars. Within the past decade, science and medicine have uncovered the psychological (thoughts), neuro-electrical (neurotransmitters/nervous signals), chemical (hormones), and physiological (cell behavior) pathway between what we “thinketh,” and what is “done unto us.” All branches of medicine and psychology deal with human problems at some point along this continuum; and now they know why.

The Z-Point Personal Peace Program helps you teach your body to let-go of painful or limiting thoughts, beliefs, or emotions, by utilizing the age-old concept of “Ask and Receive.” If you ask your mind to do something for you, it will; and if you agree that it will do that each time you use the “magic word,” it will respond — and the response will become more and more automatic over time. We often use the term, “magic word,” in reference to magic tricks and words such as, “Abracadabra,” or when teaching children to express gratitude and respect by saying, “Please and thank you.” But “activating words” are common throughout life.

Races don’t begin until someone says, “Go;” and guns and whistles are used to create the audible signal to begin many sporting activities. The entire Universe, depending on who you ask, was started by a single word or sound (BANG!); there is untold power in a single word. But, in order for the word to produce the desired effect, we must know in our minds what we are supposed to do when we “get the word.” The Z-Point Personal Peace Program is an amazingly simple and powerful technique for creating change with a word. The Z-Point Process provides a framework for removing obstacles and limiting beliefs on cue, so you can get on with living the life you want to live. Like saying, “Amen,” at the end of a prayer to ensure it is delivered and answered, the Z-Point key word, or cue word — which is a unique word chosen by each individual — sets the mind into action releasing the highlighted obstacles to health, happiness, peace, and success.

Because the Z-Point release process is activated by a single-word, it doesn’t involve laying down, relaxing, or using acupressure points. The Z-Point Process, in other words, can be used anywhere; and, since the point of using a key word is to stimulate a response in the mind, you don’t even have to say the word out loud. Like a silent prayer, you can go through the Z-Point Process quickly and silently — and nobody has to know you are doing anything.

Many people have used the Z-point Process to attain emotional freedom and emotional self-management. Countless people have overcome difficulties at work, at home, in their relationships, and with their health — including overcoming fears, phobias, habits, and other problems — by using Z-Point. And it’s as simple as putting your attention on the change you wish to create and repeating the key word you have remembered to use as the “Go” signal to let-go of the past and step into the future.

Though hundreds of physicians, psychologists, and other healthcare providers all over the world are using the Z-Point Process, anyone can quickly and easily learn this simple, yet profound technique for removing obstacles and realizing dreams. You can learn to eliminate obstacles and find peace with the Z-Point Process. The Four Truths

Recently, good friend and fellow ZPoint Practitioner Jennifer Koerner suggested what I’ve come to call The Four Truths. These are truths as they pertain to ZPoint and any other approach to self realization and healing.

To change we must be…

- Ready to Change
- Willing to Change
- Able to Change, and
- To feel Safe while doing so

So, to clear the ways to being able to be ready, willing and able to allow change at the deepest levels and feel safe while doing so, we could use the following statements.

I clear all the ways parts of me aren’t ready to change. <cue>

I clear all the ways those parts are unwilling to change. <cue>

I clear all the ways those parts are unable to change. <cue>

I clear all the ways I wouldn’t feel safe if I allowed myself to change. <cue>

If you are using the Process and have seemingly struck a roadblock, the statements above just might get you on your way again. Try it out and let us know how you make out. :-)

Regards,

Grant
