Releasing the Past – The Easy Way

Today I’m writing to show you how to release childhood and other trauma, memories and issues completely, quickly and painlessly.
Some years ago I watched a documentary about World War II veterans who had been through very difficult and traumatic experiences. War is a terrible thing and affects people in profound and often unexpected ways.
In one scene an older gentleman was relating his personal experience with war and half way through his story he broke down and cried like a baby. Even though this experience had happened many years before, his feelings of anguish and devastation were just as fresh now as they were when they were first experienced more than 50 years before.
Perhaps you have seen or experienced something similar or perhaps you had a painful and difficult childhood that still lives within you untouched by the intervening years. These feelings, buried alive for decades, may still affect you today, expressing themselves in poor relationships, weight problems or a host of other self-limiting and painful issues.
So, lets begin by thinking about that period in your life and allow yourself to feel the Characteristic Feeling that comes up when you remember or think about that time in your life. Just feel it and simply mark it with your awareness.
And we’ll begin…
Whenever I think about this time in my life, I feel… <cue>
I clear all the ways I feel this feeling. <cue>
I clear all the ways I feel this feeling because… <cue>
I clear all the ways I feel this feeling whenever… <cue>
I clear all the ways I may feel this feeling if… <cue>
I clear all the ways unconscious and other parts of me feel this feeling. <cue>
I clear all the ways these parts feel this feeling because… <cue>
I clear all the ways I benefit from feeling this feeling. <cue>
I clear all the ways these parts wouldn’t feel safe if I let this feeling go right now. <cue>
Now, take a big breath, relax and think about this time again. If any part of that feeling
remains, repeat the following…
I clear all the ways I feel the remainder of this feeling. <cue>
I clear all the ways I feel the remainder of this feeling because… <cue>
I clear all the ways I feel the remainder of this feeling whenever… <cue>
I clear all the ways I may feel the remainder of this feeling if… <cue>
I clear all the ways unconscious and other parts of me feel the remainder of this feeling.

I clear all the ways these parts feel the remainder of this feeling because… <cue>
I clear all the ways I benefit from feeling the remainder of this feeling. <cue>
I clear all the ways these parts wouldn’t feel safe if I released the remainder of this feeling right now. <cue>
Now, think back to that time of your life again. Does it feel the same? Are there any other feelings that remain such as anger or sadness? If so, allow yourself to become aware of that feeling and mark it with your awareness and release it. Try not to put a name to that feeling as this limits the results somewhat. Just feel it and we’ll begin…

Another way to use this Method is to focus on certain time periods of your life such as from your birth to about the age of 7 years old. This is the time when many of the issues we have in later life are formed.
Focus your awareness on this period and allow yourself to feel that Characteristic Feeling that represents that entire period of time. Mark it with your awareness and we’ll begin.

Now, take a big breath, relax and think about this time again. If any part of that feeling remains, repeat the following…

If you wish, you can imagine taking that whole period of your life, all the experiences you had, all the upset, concerns and memories as well as any other feelings connected to those memories, and place them all in the circle and count them down from 10 to 0.
Starting with 10, and remembering to repeat your cue with each count.

1… <cue>
0… <cue>
Just take a breath, relax and think about that time period again. Chances are you’ll never be upset by thinking about this again and most important, you’ll find yourself responding to the situations and circumstances that may trouble you in your life right now, differently.

This is a very powerful exercise and can dramatically shift how you look at and experience your life, but always in positive life affirming ways. An intelligent person with a burning desire for change, can use the instructions above to completely transform their lives. This is not an exaggeration.

Hi,
much appreciation for this great work. It does work well for inner balance in present time for me.
And I have a difficulty here I like to clear :
I do not seem to be able to connect a memory with a feeling. I can remember a time or experoence that was painful at the time or caused me anger or upset back then but now when I remember the situation or person there is no charge to it.
But – I must have charge because I do react with all those feelings still. And that means that I can address a feeling that comes up through an experience that I am having right now, but what do I do about the past that I wish to clear.? Can it be that my ‘charge’ is numb, can it be that I just cannot get to it and that is why I can remember by thought but not by feeling?
If I can only clear a feeling as it comes up now it seems too slow of an ‘unloading’ process. I would like to be free of that old stuff asap.

Yes, it’s likely you still have a charge on this issue even though it has been reduced enough that you can’t consciously feel it. Suggest you go over this again for any remainder. If you can, use the new longer Protocol because it clears to a much deeper level. See ‘ZPoint In-Depth Protocol’ in this Blog.
My experience shows me that using the new longer protocol clears at a much deeper level that what you’ve been doing. Using the new protocol will make this a complete non issue. And that’s a good thing.

I did this excersize and it turned out to be a very emotional experience with a lot of crying and I seemed to be very resistant so I did the whole thing . I am not sure crying is the norm for this and I have done ZPoint for other things but never had this experience until I released the past . It seemed almost sad .
